Existence of God: In the News
A.P. Christian Evidences Camp

The summer of 2013 will mark A.P.’s third consecutive year to offer young people an opportunity to study Christian evidences at Indian Creek Youth Camp in Oakman, Alabama. In addition to the usual fun and games that go with summer camp (i.e., sports, crafts, swimming, canoeing, etc.), and the devos and Bible studies that nurture the spiritual dimension of young people, campers will be treated with a week-long challenging Christian Evidences curriculum. Every class and lecture will focus on one aspect of the overall theme for the week. In previous years we have focused on “The Existence of God” (2011) and “The Reliability of the Bible” (2012). This year our theme will be “Creation vs. Evolution.” We will study and discuss such pertinent topics as natural selection, mutations, the age of the Earth, homology, embryology, alleged human evolution, dinosaurs, and theistic evolution. Young people will learn of the proofs for Creation, while also being exposed to the evidence against the General Theory of Evolution.
Each younger camper will receive a notebook with 12 lessons in it that will be covered throughout the week. Each older camper will receive a free 180-page, hardback book on creation and evolution.
Dave Miller, Jeff Miller, Kyle Butt, and myself will be teaching the 7th-12th grade classes each morning and lecturing each evening. Some of those teaching the younger-age classes include A.P. support staff members such as Rob Baker and Rhonda Thompson, as well as some great preachers and youth directors who are close friends and supporters of the work at A.P.
A.P. Camp 2013 will be June 9-14 and costs $135. The camp is for 3rd-12th graders. Registration is now closed for 2013, as more than 210 campers and staff have signed up. For more information, please call (334) 272-8558.
